What will you be doing? Barclays Services LLC seeks AssistantVP, Full Stack Developer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positionsavailable): 1. Build and configure the Amazon Web Services (AWS)Public Cloud environment to build and deliver the application. 2.Develop the framework required for migrating applications fromHadoop to AWS cloud-based technology including continuousintegration and deployment. 3. Responsible for defining andchanging existing application components to interpret and meetadditional business requirements through whiteboard solutionarchitecture, while collaborating with business users and globallydispersed development teams to clarify requirements and providestatus updates. 4. Manage projects through the project life cycle,build requirements for implementation and resolve issues on pathback to BAU operations. 5. Develop complicated Ab Initio ETLprocesses to turn business requirements into technology datasolutions. 6. Design and implement Data integration and DataWarehouse based solutions using Hadoop platform. 7. Support dataanalysis by optimizing complex SQL queries and provide technicallysound solutions for the ingestion, storage and presentation ofenterprise data including ETL design, data storage strategies, dataaccess and security. 8. Develop, design, code and perform unittesting of complex software components for new or enhanced ITsystems to a high level of quality, producing appropriatedocumentation while performing cost benefit analysis by driving thedesign of scalable solutions while considering all recoverable andresiliency requirements. 9. Employ agile techniques such as taskestimation, test automation, deployment automation to enhanceoverall execution speed and product quality. 10. Provideimplementation and integration tasks for medium to large, complexin-house developed systems while providing. 11. Provide technicalsupport to business analyst/project managers and coaching to lessexperienced staff across a geographically dispersed team. 12. Maytelecommute. Adherence to secure codingpractices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, andensure secure software solutions. Implementation of effective unittesting practices to ensure proper code design, readability, andreliability.
