Job Overview:

We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Architect with strong expertise in marketing automation within the financial services domain
. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical acumen, solution architecture experience
, and business process insight to lead SFMC implementations that drive customer engagement and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a strategic advisor and technical consultant to stakeholders, translating complex business requirements into scalable SFMC solutions.
Architect, configure, and manage multi-channel campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools.
Design and document robust solution architectures that integrate with upstream/downstream systems.
Lead full-cycle SFMC implementations, including technical delivery, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.
Develop solutions involving Journeys, Triggers, Email Campaigns, Cloud Pages
, and ETL/Integration workflows
.
Guide client teams in best practices for audience segmentation, personalization, and automation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign data models and processes align with business goals.
Establish and promote SFMC best practices around scalability, performance optimization, and compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of total IT experience, with 6+ years in Marketing Automation
, particularly within the Financial Services sector.
Hands-on experience in at least 2 end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations
.
Strong proficiency with key SFMC modules: Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder
Experience with Ad Studio, Social Studio, or Audience Studio is a plus.
Deep understanding of data modeling
, campaign data orchestration
, and ETL/integration patterns
.
Experience integrating SFMC with external systems via

REST/SOAP

APIs or using Marketing Cloud Connect
.
Demonstrated ability to architect custom marketing solutions and scalable data structures
.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills-comfortable presenting technical solutions to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Marketing Cloud Developer
)
Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
Exposure to Datorama, Interaction Studio
, or CDP platforms is a bonus.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise-level delivery frameworks
