SDET (Data) [Berkeley Heights, NJ, 07922] | 2025-06-18 15:12:56 Job Description SDET (Data) We’re looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help ensure the quality and reliability of our data-driven products.

What you will do:

Design and build effective testing processes to support the Data Team in testing for a fast-growing product
Setup and maintain test environments for manual and automated testing
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases
Automate test cases as well as write reusable scripts/tools that help the team reduce repetitive efforts
Coordinate with Product Management and Data Engineers to deliver stable software products What you will need to have: 6-10 years of experience with JSON, RESTful APIs, and Postman 4+ years of experience testing against relational databases and Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
4+ years creating and executing comprehensive test strategies 2+ years of experience in Python programming
2+ years of implementation experience in banking or finance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work or military experience What would be great to have: General experience with JMeter, PgAdmin, GitLab, Kafka, Jira, Confluence, Swagger, Kibana, AWS
Experience in programming languages, preferably Postgresql, Snowsql, Go
