Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer at the expert level to support system maintenance, modernization, integration, and enhancement initiatives. The successful candidate will work on daily production support of medical payment applications, statutory projects, and application reengineering efforts. This position requires 50% in-person presence at our partner’s Albany, NY office. Applicants must be within reasonable commuting distance. Relocation is not available.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and optimize Oracle PL/SQL code, including triggers and packages. Tune complex SQL queries to improve performance. Maintain and enhance .NET Core/ASP.NET integrations and interfaces. Conduct unit testing and resolve production issues promptly. Modernize systems using Oracle, REST APIs, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MVC, and .NET Core. Follow SDLC and project governance standards throughout development.

Qualifications:

7+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development (SQL tuning, triggers, packages). 7+ years of C#.NET and object-oriented programming (batch/web apps). 7+ years with

ASP.NET, .NET

Core, and MVC. 5+ years using Azure DevOps, Git, and TFSVC. 5+ years of front-end development (JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Ajax, Bootstrap, HTML). 4+ years working in Agile/Scrum environments. 5+ years building and integrating RESTful APIs.
