Developer Position Available In Chenango, New York

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract job with a client in Norwich, NY . You will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, managing hardware/software installations, and resolving incidents within SLA timelines.

Rate Range:

$30/hour to $31/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Developer job responsibilities include:

Provide on-site and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and associated peripherals. Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, including Windows 10/11, Office 365, and common enterprise applications. Manage Active Directory tasks, including user/group management, DNS, and Group Policy configurations. Coordinate with vendors and Level 3 support teams for hardware repairs, escalations, and service delivery improvements. Maintain and resolve service tickets within defined SLAs, ensuring timely communication and follow-up with end users. Support IT infrastructure for events and disaster recovery, including setup, monitoring, and emergency response.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 8 years of experience in Java development and ETL pipeline design. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Snowflake, SQL Server, and Power BI, with hands-on experience in data modeling and integration. Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Genesys PureCloud, Salesforce, and cloud-based data ingestion tools, with a strong understanding of AI insights and prompt engineering. Pay Details:
