Months Contract Description:
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong hands-on expertise in TestComplete for a contract position with our client a leading global investment banking firm. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing and automating test frameworks, supporting QA initiatives, and enhancing existing automation processes for mission-critical financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TestComplete and Python.
Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to understand test automation requirements.
Build robust and reusable automation frameworks and libraries.
Execute, monitor, and report on automated tests; troubleshoot failures and optimize performance.
Contribute to continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines and QA process improvements.
Ensure test automation aligns with best practices and coding standards.
Document test plans, test cases, and automation results clearly and accurately.
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in Python programming, preferably in a financial services or banking environment.
Hands-on experience with TestComplete (Desktop, Web, or both).Strong understanding of automated testing methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Git, and JIRA.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the software development lifecycle.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Job Type:

$40.00 – $45.00 per hour
