The Jr. Full Stack Developer will become part of a dedicatedInformation Technology team focusing on developing and maintainingsoftware applications on both front-end and back-end componentswithin the Microsoft technology stack. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but arenot limited to: Learning and navigating the existing codebase tobuild foundational coding skills. Performing assigned programmingtasks with adherence to IT standards, including properdocumentation, naming conventions, and meeting project timelines.

Assisting in debugging and resolving basic code-related issues ordefects under supervision Develops and maintains an understandingof project-specific business and technical requirements to supportappropriate solution design.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’sdegree in computer science, Computer Engineering or similar fieldof study or equivalent work experience. 0-1 year of exposure to SQLServer, .Net, and C#. Exposure to front-end frameworks such asAngular or React is a plus. 0 to 1-year practical IT experience.

Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL/RDBMS.Familiarity with an object-oriented programming language (e.g., C#)and scripting languages (e.g., Python) is preferred. Strong desireto learn, with the ability to follow online guides and tutorials toimplement solutions.

Merchants Insurance Group Pay information:

Merchants Insurance Group offers a competitive pay scale. Theactual compensation will be determined based upon experience andother factors permitted by law. The initial pay range for thisposition is $54,000 – 72,000.
