Senior Software Engineer

SALARY:
From $179, 982 – $180,000 per year
DUTIES:
Hands-on programming and performing code reviews for multiple strategic applications. Mentor junior developers around code quality and software development best practices. Programming, debugging and support of enterprise software products. Provide leadership in the development and implementation of web and cloud-based solutions. Design technical solution using best practices in web development regarding security, maintainability, scalability, and performance. Interact with multiple areas relating to Information Services, outside vendors and business unit staff in the development and delivery of technology solutions. Responsible for all aspects of SDLC including development, code installation, production support, proactive maintenance, problem resolution. Conduct, or participate in, peer reviews of code and technology solutions. Work with multiple teams to build accurate estimates for new development/ enhancements and deliver reliable, reusable, and supportable software on time and on-budget. •Role holder is eligible to work remotely on a hybrid basis, with manager approval, but must reside within commuting distance.
REQUIREMENTS
Associate’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related IT field plus 5 years of related experience. Experience must include 5 year of experience with enterprise application development experience using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core; experience with designing and developing Web Services and RESTful services; experience with DB technologies like RDBMS or NoSQL; experience working with Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, CSS; experience in multitier application architecture having complex integration between different systems; expertise in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) & Component Design; experience with setting up CI/CD build/deployment pipelines using DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Nexus, or terraform; experience building secure cloud-based applications using latest architectural patterns, especially serverless applications; and experience with translating business requirements into technical design. •Role holder is eligible to work remotely on a hybrid basis, with manager approval, but must reside within commuting distance
