Senior Software Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Brooklyn, NY.

Overview:

Our team is at the heart of customer support innovation-designing and developing features that power help channels like Zendesk, live chat, and order assistance. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, analysts, and fellow engineers to deliver thoughtful, high-impact solutions.

Duties:

• Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain robust applications using PHP and React/TypeScript
• Translate product and design requirements into clean, production-ready code
• Integrate with third-party APIs (like Zendesk) to enhance support capabilities
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• As a Senior Software Engineer, you will break down complex features into manageable, incremental deliverables
• Tackle architectural challenges and make smart technical trade-offs
• Work cross-functionally with teams across product, design, and analytics

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong experience with PHP and React/TypeScript
• A detail-oriented mindset and a passion for building intuitive user experiences
• A collaborative spirit and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
