Workday Subject Matter Expert Position Available In Kings, New York

Job Description:

Workday Subject Matter Expert Our client, a leading nonprofitorganization in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Workday InstructionalDesigner and Trainer to support their Workday go-live scheduled forSummer, 2025. This role will involve developing and deliveringtraining materials and sessions for staff across the organization,ensuring they are proficient in using the new Workday system. Theideal candidate will have extensive Workday experience and be ableto collaborate effectively with an external consulting firm.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implementinstructional materials for Workday modules (e-learning courses,training manuals, quick reference guides, video tutorials).Facilitate engaging training sessions (in-person and virtual) forvarious user groups. Collaborate with external consulting firm andsubject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate andup-to-date. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs throughassessments and feedback. Provide ongoing support and mentorship tousers post-training. Assist in developing communication materialsrelated to Workday updates and training.

Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience in instructional design and training,specifically with Workday. Strong understanding of learningprinciples and instructional design methodologies. Proficiency ine-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, AdobeCaptivate) and LMS. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Workday certification in relevantmodules (preferred). Experience with Change Management principles.

Knowledge of instructional technologies and multimedia design.

Ability to work with a high degree of ambiguity. Diplomatic.

Physical Requirements:
