Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12 + month contract position.

Responsibilities:

Specialize, highly skilled team with subject matter expertise in trading risk
Reduce support coverage gaps in Global Markets by realizing economies of scale
Improve stability by implementing consistent incident and problem management routines
Provide traders with rapid access to support and self-service tools via new engagement model
Standardized monitoring and dashboards across lines of business to detect production issues
Strategic tooling to reduce manual toil, improve issue detection and aide issue analysis
Embrace innovation and has the drive to deliver on added-value projects and initiatives to help create and grow an industry-leading intraday risk horizontal support team
Support traders, and the expectation is that all team members will assist with BAU Support and issue resolution in addition to project work assigned based on their skill set
Provide an opportunity within a trader facing team to gain a strong understanding of several technological areas
Support team and provide a leading example within the team and take our business delivery to the next level
First point of contact for end business users in FICC for all intraday risk issues
Troubleshootplex end-to-end flow of trades and market data updates
Ownership and delivery of onboarding support of new lines of business and workflows
Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots
Develop tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements
Incident and Problem Management
Event Management (Monitoring and Alert life cycle Management)
Define and drive monitoring improvements and technical processes
Capacity, Performance and Resiliency Management
Tool development in-house projects
Stakeholder management andmunication
Knowledge management

Requirements:

Hands on experience providing direct support to front office trading desks
Business knowledge of fixed ie products
Understanding of market data flows

Quartz Pay range: $61.60 – $69.60
