Job Opening:
C++ Software Engineer (2-6 Years Experience) – New York City
A leading technology-driven trading firm in New York City is hiring a C++ Software Engineer to help build and maintain the high-performance systems that power global trading operations.
About the Role
You’ll join a small, fast-moving team responsible for real-time systems where performance and reliability are critical. You’ll work closely with developers across the, building trading algorithms, monitoring systems, and research infrastructure. Expect to work on a distributed system that pushes the limits of latency and throughput.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize low-latency C++ software
Debug and improve performance across the stack
Collaborate with peers to refine architecture and code quality
Solve complex technical problems in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
2-6 years of professional software development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Strong C++ skills (daily use preferred)
Solid understanding of Linux, CPU/memory performance, and networking
Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities
