$94/HR Job/Role Description Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale, or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel. Responsible for analyzing/interpreting the Data Modernization strategy across impacted disciplines and developing and implementing best-of-class data solutions. Support of formalization of business requirements, translation of business requirements into detailed technical requirements, and participation in Agile-based workstreams via use of Jira. Create more capacity from an agile perspective Required Qualifications 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education. module/ POLAR/ ITORCH) Programing experience Experience building distributed applications Familiarity with Relational DB (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or others) Micro-service architectures Working with DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Automation Deployment toolkits) Experience developing RESTFull API s Agile Development environment Nice to have Java, C++, or C# – nice to have) Test Driven Development (TDD) environment)

NICE TO HAVE

Familiarity with capital markets domain, specifically in risk disciplines such as Market and Counterparty Credit Risk Knowledge and understanding of derivative products, risk management, and data modeling of financial products
