We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Software Engineer to join our commodities trading desk. In this role, you will collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and data scientists to design, build, and optimize high-performance systems for pricing, risk management, and strategy development.
Key Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in a trading or financial environment.
Strong proficiency in Python and/or C++, with a focus on performance and reliability.
Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and systems design.
Experience with time-series data, numerical computing, and distributed systems.
Familiarity with commodities markets and trading workflows is a strong plus.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
You will play a critical role in shaping the technical foundation of our trading strategies, contributing to both research and production systems in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
