Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and driven RPA Team Lead to lead the design, development, and support of our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives. This role will play a critical part in scaling automation capabilities across the enterprise while providing technical leadership and guidance to a cross-functional team. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in Automation Anywhere, coupled with a solid foundation in software engineering and scripting, to deliver robust and scalable automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and support of RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere (AA360 or legacy versions).
Oversee RPA project lifecycles, from requirements gathering and solution design to deployment and post-implementation support.
Mentor and guide junior developers and automation engineers; foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and align them with business goals.
Write, review, and maintain automation scripts using Java or Python, and support DevOps tasks as needed.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for RPA deployments; contribute to automation infrastructure improvements.
Perform troubleshooting, optimization, and performance tuning of existing RPA solutions.
Ensure adherence to RPA best practices, coding standards, and security/compliance policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere (AA360 or prior versions).
Experience with additional RPA platforms like UI Path or Blue Prism is a strong plus.
Proficiency in Java or Python for scripting and integration.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), software development life cycle (SDLC), and CI/CD principles.
Working knowledge of DevOps tools, Bash scripting, and SQL for managing automation workflows and databases.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proven leadership experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
RPA platform certification (e.g., Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional).
Experience mentoring or leading development teams in a hybrid or distributed setup.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative delivery models.
