Job Description:

Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices. Build new services to meet critical product and business needs. Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices. Articulate a long-term vision for maintaining and scaling our backend systems and the teams running them. Work with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter. Write high quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers. Telecommuting permitted.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or in a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.

Special Requirements:

Position requires experience, knowledge or coursework in each of the following skills: 1.Development language in GoLang to build applications and features within current software development code and standards;2.Cache, data store, and connection pool management;3.SQL and NoSQL database systems including Postgres, MongoDB, SnowFlake to support application development processing data;4.Use AWS cloud environment with an understanding of software practices supporting development of applications;5.Memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization; and6.Test, debug, and other code competency as it relates to and support development of code base/applications for feature set.
