THE ROLE

As a Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing cloud-native microservices and large-scale data pipelines. You’ll work across AWS and multi-cloud environments, supporting AI-driven financial modelling and real-time data retrieval. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about building scalable, secure systems.
Develop and maintain cloud-based microservices using AWS and serverless technologies.
Design and optimise large-scale data pipelines for AI-driven financial modelling.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab Actions.
Develop secure, scalable API endpoints with OAuth and OpenAPI standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and scalability.
Work across multi-cloud environments, including potential GCP integration.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Comp Sci Degree from a top school.
5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on cloud and data engineering.
Deep expertise in AWS architecture and Terraform.
Proficient in Python, with experience in data transformation and pipeline development.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (GitLab Actions).
Strong understanding of API security and real-time data systems.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Experience with Machine Learning and model deployment.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment.
AWS Technical Certifications.
