Job Description
CTC Trading Group, LLC seeks a Sr. Engineer in New York, NY.
Duties:
Collaborate with traders, quants and technologists to drive requirements and propose solutions. Engineer compute solutions to handle sophisticated and data-heavy research processes. Build robust data pipelines to process and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets.
Create testing frameworks to ensure correctness and model code performance. Design and implement trading services that quickly convert research ideas into production. Telecommuting ispermitted.
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of experience.
- Requires 5 years of experience in software development within a trading desk environment.
- Requires 5 years of experience in building statistical research and analytic platforms using large and diverse historical datasets.
- Requires 5 years of experience in a quantitative developer role with a focus on equities.
- Requires 5 years of experience with the full life-cycle development of data models and ETLprocesses to support a trading environment.
- Requires 5 years of experience with the ability to comprehend trade-offs in building a service-oriented system, and balance long-term strategic planning with short-term tactical solutions to meet the evolving business needs.
- Requires 1 year of experience in building and optimizing risk models.
- Requires 1 year of experience in a low-latency trading environment.
- Requires 1 year of experience with expertise in distributed parallel compute systems, preferably cloud-based, with a strong understanding and practical experience in performance optimization.
- Requires 1 year of experience with the ability to independently identify system issues and solutions.
