About the Role We are seeking a Trading Tools Developer to join a high-impact Equity Derivatives technology team supporting front-office trading in the Americas. In this role, you’ll develop and support tools used by the Equity Derivatives trading desk-working directly with traders and technical teams. You’ll work on both existing and new applications using Python, Excel/VBA, kdb, and/or C#.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain trading tools for the Equity Derivatives desk
Collaborate with traders to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions
Enhance application performance and usability in a fast-paced trading environment
Work across all phases of development: design, implementation, testing, and support
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence
Qualifications
Strong hands-on development skills in Python
Experience with Excel/VBA
, kdb
, or C# is a plus
Familiarity with equity derivatives or options trading workflows is desirable (but not required)
Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with end users
Ability to thrive in a hybrid, agile, and fast-paced setting
