OPWDD Modernization and Remediation Program Position Overview:
We are seeking an Expert-level Software Architect to support the OPWDD Modernization and Remediation Program , with a focus on enhancing the TABS (Tracking and Billing System) application. This project includes the development of a web-based GUI and the consolidation of legacy databases, requiring advanced knowledge of MUMPS/Cache’/IRIS programming and system integration.
Daily Responsibilities:
Design, develop & implement enhancements to the TABS system using MUMPS/Cache’ Attend project meetings and actively participate in planning and review sessions Gather, document, and translate technical requirements into actionable solutions Support and maintain interfaces between TABS and internal/external systems Implement new technologies for system integration and modernization

Required Qualifications:
7 years of MUMPS programming in healthcare 2 years developing
WSDL/SOAP
apps with Cache web services 2 years of MUMPS experience excluding post-relational Cache 2 years providing technical guidance on legacy system modernization 2 years working with data exchange standards (HIPAA, HL7, NIEM) 2 years using Cache or IRIS for Health (2018+)
