Java Developer Position Available In Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Java Developer to join one of our largest financial clients in Pittsburgh, PA. This person will be a part of the Technology Services Group on the Public Cloud team. They will be joining a part of the team that responsible for running an orchestration and provisioning engine that builds virtual machines for the other teams to use, then those teams take the virtual machines to build infrastructure. In the environment, there are automated processes that flag various vulnerabilities within certain components of code base. They need someone that will be responsible for vulnerability remediation by looking through and monitoring the flagged vulnerabilities then doing the Java development work to remediate the code vulnerability or dependency that needs to be updated. It is imperative that this developer understands how to resolve the vulnerabilities, own the process of making the code changes and ensuring it gets completed. Most of the remediation will require actual deployments to production post code so this person needs to be able to do that. • 5+ years of hands on development experience in Java (17/21)
• Strong proficiency in Terraform
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities and supporting code-level changes
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot breakages across infrastructure and applications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and scripting
• Knowledge of Azure and GCP
