Senior CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) Developer Position Available In Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Decision Resources, Inc, d/b/a Decision Resources, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, has a remote position for a Senior CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) Developer to participate in the full software development life cycle for client’s Syteline/INFOR CloudSuite Industrial ERP system. This is a fully remote position. The employee may work from anywhere in the United States.

Specific duties include:

(1) assisting the client with enhancing the functionality of their ERP system and all aspects of software development to support their needs; (2) customizing and creating new business logic within the SQL based INFOR CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) systems; working on a broad range of technologies; (3) applying the principles of software engineering to observe and participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, implementation, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance; (4) gathering and documenting technical business requirements for the software development and design of new systems; (5) creating enhancements, customizations, add-ons, and reports for CloudSuite Industrial (CSI) ERP; (6) contributing to the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of solutions in support of applications, databases, and reporting solutions; (7) supporting and maintaining systems and applications, implementing fixes, and performing system upgrades; (8) collaborating with other team members on the design and implementation of projects; (9) testing modifications and documenting all programming tasks and procedures; (10) interacting with clients and providing exceptional customer service and support; (11) conducting research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of integrations; (12) partnering with customers in the development of innovative solutions that achieve business goals; (13) providing subject matter expertise on design and implementation of integrations; and (14) conducting training sessions for end-users on technical subjects which includes developing and delivering educational materials and presentations that effectively explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field and three years of experience in Syteline or INFOR development and customization required.

This is a fully remote position. The employee may work from anywhere in the United States.

Experience must include: (1) ERP systems – manufacturing and accounting principles; (2) developing business reports using SQL, Crystal reports, and SSRS reporting; (3) acting as a solution architect; (4) front-end and back-end software design and development and related technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and

DBMS/SQL

; (5) resolving integration and technical issues; (6) designing and implementing databases and SQL-based software solutions, with strong skills in SQL stored procedures and database management; (7) implementing and troubleshooting new development extensions; (8) developing business reports; (9) communicating technical requirements and information to clients; (10) integrating supporting applications with ERP Solutions; (11) API Development and Consumption; (12) maintaining, migrating, and upgrading ERP system and its processes; (13) Version Control and Project Management tools including Visual, Trello, VSS, and Visio; and (14) working collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Must have knowledge of or experience with: (1) MS.Net framework and Visual Studio; (2) Business Intelligence Analytics Reporting; (3) Web-Based Application Development using .Net framework; (4) SaaS applications development; and (5) Data Mining and ETL processes.
