Software Engineer Sr
Job Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining software for operating systems, networked systems, and database systems. This includes creating the software platform and fine-tuning the final program.
Responsibilities:
Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, upgrade interfaces, and improve performance.
Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
Consult with engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software, develop specifications and performance requirements, and resolve customer issues.
Advise customers on software system maintenance or perform maintenance tasks.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in computer development software such as SQL, Java, J2EE, etc.
Experience with container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated, willing to take initiative, and able to apply new technologies when appropriate.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience required.
6 to 8 years of experience required.
