Embedded Software Engineer Position Available In Chester, Pennsylvania

Embedded Firmware Engineer West Chester, PA – Full-time position Salary range: $90,000 – $120,000 + 10% annual bonus Position Description Candidate needs to be able to work in a team environment with other engineers and disciplines to develop and integrate software/hardware into complex avionics equipment. The candidate will be writing code in C with some assembly code for lower level or performance critical functions. The candidate can make assessments on reusability, maintainability, and efficiency on software across product lines. The candidate will be responsible for the development of low-level software requirements and design documentation in accordance with

RTCA DO-178B/C

guidelines. The candidate should utilize their own expertise within a team environment to add input on technical approaches for software/product design in compliance with FAA guidelines and or established processes.

Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship due to ITAR compliance requirements.

Required degree:

o Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (with C exposure).

Required Knowledge:

o Embedded systems knowledge o ARM processor (or similar) based development o Read and Write C source code o Read Assembly language o Ability to read and understand electronic component datasheets Desired skills: o Real Time Operating System (i.e. VxWorks) knowledge is desired o Board Level programming knowledge (i.e. u-boot) is desired o Interface knowledge: SPI, 422, 485, i2C, USB, ethernet, RGB, LVDS, MIPI o Ability to use Debugger and low level troubleshooting skills is desired o Familiarity with Eclipse or other IDEs is a plus o Linux experience is desired o Multi core processor knowledge is desired Required personnel traits: o Professional and effective communication skills are must. o Complex problem-solving skills are necessary. o Quick learners that can research and self-teach are desired. o Dependability, accountability, availability are mandatory. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 – $120000.00/yr. 10% annual bonus to all engineers Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Exton,PA.
