 AmericanTCS Technology LLC The Sr. Software Engineer, PensionPro is a high-level software engineer experienced working in modern programming languages, has hands-on experience working on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and has a passion for mentoring junior level staff members. The position will work exclusively on the development and maintenance of PensionPro, a platform for retirement administration software/technology. The core functions of a Sr. Software Engineer, PensionPro are to perform programming and development work to resolve complex problems and execute design specifications, participate in technical design documentation for assigned products, delegate technical work to Team Leads, and oversee deadlines to ensure delivery is on time and work is done according to design/technical specifications. Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of object-oriented programming and design concepts, web technologies, MS SQL queries, database design, and stored procedures to troubleshoot and write well designed, testable code, and to refine and re-write code as necessary to maintain and improve existing codebases.
• Team Code Review and Quality Improvement – code review per user story delivery by agile team and test the output per feature with UI/UX designer, Requirements Analyst and stakeholder to ensure development aligns with request.
• Utilize knowledge of retirement administration technology and related functionalities to take requests for development and lead discussions and documentation about enhancements and features.
• Estimate time to deliver, and delegate work to agile teams to achieve development deadlines based on knowledge of the product, feature, and specifics of development requests.
• Ensure high quality releases are delivered to BAT on time for testing with correct applications, build numbers, and scope.
• Advise and guide junior level team members in growing technical skills, resolving complex problems, and enhancing productivity within the department.
• Participate in daily standup and weekly meetings with Sr. Software Engineers, Team Leads/Agile Teams, IT and Product Team members to discuss technical problems/roadblock, current workloads, upcoming deadlines, questions on the scope of the task, and outstanding items.
• Understand the scope and relationships of large features and understand the limits of technical tools to make recommendations for improving the department.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in

Computer Science or Electronics, Electrical, or Software Engineering Experience:

Four (4) years of experience as a software engineer in retirement administration technology, including four (4) years of experience with:

• Object-oriented programming and design concepts using Microsoft Technology
• Modern web technologies using AngularJS framework
• MS SQL queries, Database Design, and Stored Procedures Location(s) where the work will occur:
