Overview:

Client is seeking two technical System Architects to support digital transformation within the customer value stream
, focused on customer-facing and supplier-facing platforms. These roles will collaborate with Enterprise and Domain Architects but remain more hands-on, with responsibility for design, architecture decisions, and occasional code reviews.
Position #1 Customer-Facing Systems
Focus on public-facing systems: Web, Mobile, and IVR
Responsible for setting technical direction and architecture strategy
Enhance and evolve existing customer-facing platforms

Position #2 Supplier/External Portals
Architect and implement new external-facing portal solutions for vendors and suppliers
Drive platform selection, integration, and solution architecture
Core Responsibilities (Both Roles)
Define end-to-end architecture and integration strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environment
Guide and mentor engineering teams (code reviews, design sessions)
Work on scalable, cloud-native architecture and DevOps pipelines
Interact with customers, stakeholders, and solution owners to ensure architectural alignment
Ensure NFRs (performance, security, scalability) are accounted for
Produce architectural documentation, diagrams, and decision records
Required Qualifications
10+ years of IT experience; 5+ years in system architecture roles
Strong experience with customer-facing systems or external/supplier portals
Experience with modern platforms: Azure (preferred), or AWS, Google Cloud Platform
Familiarity with APIs, microservices, CI/CD, containerization, and DevOps tools
Technical proficiency (can read code, conduct reviews; hands-on not required)
Collaborative, curious, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Experience with NICE IVR, Swift, React, Katalon, and Java-based APIs
Background in utilities or regulated industries
