COBOL Developer – Remote Position Available In Montgomery, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a COBOLDeveloper within our Corporate Payments division. This positionfalls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is a remoterole. In this role, you will be responsible for designing,developing, and maintaining critical financial applications. Youwill report directly to the Senior Software Engineering Manager andcollaborate regularly with engineering teams, product management,and other stakeholders. How We Work As a COBOL Developer, you willbe expected to work remotely while engaging with cross-functionalteams in a collaborative environment. Corpay will set you up forsuccess by providing: Company-issued equipment Key ResponsibilitiesWork independently on all tasks Design, develop, and maintaincustom applications or configurations of corporate applicationsystems and services Analyze and design application systems,including development, modification, and translation of userrequirements Plan, investigate, and propose systems and applicationsolutions Prepare workflows for writing, testing, and maintainingprograms Communicate effectively with product management, projectmanagement, and other stakeholders in preparation of applicationdesign specifications Encode, test, debug, and install operatingprograms and procedures in coordination with Operations andInfrastructure departments Correct, test, and document changes toexisting programs Conduct training and presentations for users andother stakeholders Support existing applications Lead smalldevelopment teams on complex application development effortsTypical Background and Experience Required Must have: Bachelor’sDegree or Professional Degree in Systems Engineering, ComputerScience/Information Technology, or equivalent At least 5-7 years ofworking experience as a software developer and/or designer
