The RoleLeafLink is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our remote team whois passionate about working on teams that solve interesting,large-scale problems at a rapid pace. This role will contributeheavily to the buildout and iteration of LeafLink’s existing andemerging platform, powering an ever-expanding set of productofferings. As a member of our engineering team, you will be in aposition to have a direct, lasting impact everywhere thattechnology powers our business. LeafLink is currently gearing up totackle a large-scale platform overhaul that will strengthen ourposition as a technical leader within the industry. As such, thisrole has the opportunity to help shape and grow this new platform,as well as work within new and growing technologies. It’s a veryexciting time to join our engineering team!   • DriveImprovement of availability, scalability, latency, and efficiencyof services alongside responsible parties
  • Increase thesophistication of our alerting and escalation mechanisms
  • Createand co-maintain dashboards surfacing actionable insights related toperformance, error rate, traffic, and utilization
  • Build/maintainplatform report cards based on tracked metrics, increasingvisibility of areas for improvement in each product area associatedwith reliability
  • Identify and help develop opportunities for theplatform to create libraries and automated standards for improvingreliability, debugging, and general observability on our platform
  • Track and correlate improvements to results in NPS/customersatisfaction alongside CX and Product teams
  • Improve CustomerExperience by analyzing signals from various sources such asDataDog that also drive service improvements and bug fixes
  • Helpdefine, document, evolve, and evangelize high engineering standardsand best practices across multiple areas for LeafLink’s Product,Data, and Enterprise Engineering teams.
  • Implement futuremitigation strategies for P0 incidents and help drive industrybest-in-class benchmarks for MTTR
  • Collaborate withengineering/product teams to drive requirements and advocate forincreased customer resiliency and platform reliability
  • Help driveimprovements within the organization around DORA Metrics
  • Movequickly and intelligently – seeing technical debt as your nemesisWhat You’ll Bring to the Team
  • 5 years of professional experienceas a DevOps/Cloud Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer, or otherequivalent role
  • Familiarity with Python and Python testing bestpractices
  • Experience working in and advocating for agileenvironments
  • Extensive experience working within AWS and with itsmanaged products (EC2, ECS, ECR, R53, SES, Elasticache, RDS, etc.)
  • Strong experience working with automation tooling (Terraform,Ansible, etc.)
  • Strong experience with containers (Docker,Compose, ECS, Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on experience designing,diagraming, and implementing highly available and scalable systems
  • Understanding of monitoring tools (Pagerduty, CloudWatch,Datadog, Sentry, etc.)
  • A participant in a formal 24×7 on-callrotation
  • Experience working within large-scale decoupled,service-oriented systems is a plus
