The SHI Services Principal Architect – Azure will lead thedesign and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud solutions for ourcompany’s end customers and partners. They will also serve as athought leader in the Azure services practice. This positionrequires a combination of deep technical expertise, strategicleadership, and customer-facing consulting skills. Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

  • Serve as the leadarchitect on Azure professional services engagements, responsiblefor overall solution design, technical integrity, and successfuldelivery
  • Translate customer requirements into Azurearchitectures, aligning with best practices, security, andoperational excellence
  • Collaborate with project managers,engineers, and consultants to ensure solutions are delivered ontime, on budget, with high customer satisfaction.
  • Act as atrusted advisor to enterprise customers throughout the post-saleslifecycle, providing architecture guidance, technical leadership,and thought partnership.
  • Lead workshops, assessments, designsessions, and technical deep dives across a wide range of Azurecapabilities (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity, security, DevOps.)
  • Own technical governance and support project delivery milestones,documentation, and architecture reviews.
  • Identify risks and drivemitigation strategies across architecture and delivery phases.
  • Contribution to continuous improvement of delivery methodologies,templates, and best practices
  • Support knowledge transfer andenablement for customer teams and internal delivery staff.
  • Staycurrent with Microsoft Azure innovations, roadmap, and serviceupdates to maintain leadership in this space.
  • Contribute to thedevelopment of the SHI Microsoft Azure services practice includingbuilding reusable delivery frameworks, defining engagement bestpractices and creating content for Sales and Delivery.
  • Providethought leadership through presentations, whitepapers, and industryengagements.
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, and deliveryteams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Drive the growth ofprofessional services revenue by identifying and pursing MicrosoftAzure focused opportunities
  • Develop and deliver a world-classprofessional services experience Qualifications
  • CompletedBachelor’s, Technical degree or related work experience in ComputerEngineering or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of technicalexperience with increasing responsibility
  • Proven experiencedelivering enterprise Azure solutions in a post-sales,customer-facing capacity
  • Strong understanding of core Azureservices and architecture patterns across compute, networking,identity, storage, containers, and automation
  • Proficiency withinfrastructure as code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform), DevOps pipelines,and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong knowledge of security, governance,identity (Entra ID), and compliance considerations in Azure.
  • Experience working in professional services, consulting, or systemsintegration delivery models. Required Skills
  • Background inlarge-scale migrations, hybrid cloud, Azure landing zones, andapplication modernization projects.
  • Experience with regulated orcomplex environments
  • Microsoft Cloud Certifications
  • Familiaritywith ITIL, Agile, and modern delivery frameworks
  • Expert andtimely decision-making skills
  • Strong written, presentation andverbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Receptive listening skills, with ability topresent ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical andnon-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel to client sites uponreasonable request Additional Information
  • The estimated annualpay range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000 which includes abase salary and bonus.

The compensation for this position isdependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and marketlocation and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
