The SHI Services Principal Architect – Modern Work will lead thedesign and delivery of enterprise-scale collaboration,productivity, and digital workplace solutions using the Microsoft365 ecosystem. This post-sales role is embedded within ourprofessional services organization and is accountable for ensuringsuccessful implementation and user adoption of Microsoft ModernWork capabilities such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive,Exchange Online, Viva, Microsoft Intune and Entra ID. They willalso serve as a thought leader in the Modern Work servicespractice. This position requires a combination of deep technicalexpertise, strategic leadership, and customer-facing consultingskills. - Lead technicalarchitecture and solution delivery for Modern Work projects acrossMicrosoft 365, including collaboration, communications, mobiledevice management, and identity workloads.
- Translate customerrequirements and business objectives into scalable, secure, andintegrated Microsoft Modern Work architectures
- Facilitate designworkshops, assessments, roadmaps, and deployment planning fortechnologies such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive,Exchange Online, Microsoft Intune, and Entra ID
- Provide guidanceand architectural oversight throughout the project lifecycles -working closely with consultants, project managers, and customerstakeholders
- Drive adoption strategies for new ways of working,user experience optimization, and change enablement acrossMicrosoft 365
- Align solutions with Microsoft’s Modern Workframework, and the Microsoft 365 roadmap
- Maintain architecturedocumentation, lead governance reviews, and ensure adherence tocompliance and security requirements
- Provide mentoring andenablement to internal delivery teams and customer technical staff
- Stay current with Microsoft 365 feature releases, roadmapupdates, and industry trends to guide future-state designs.
Qualifications
- Completed Bachelor’s, Technical degree or relatedwork experience in Computer Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of technical experience with increasingresponsibility
- Demonstrated expertise designing and deployingMicrosoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, OneDrive forBusiness, Microsoft Intune, and Entra ID
- Experience leadingcomplex multi workload tenant to tenant migrations
- Strongknowledge of Microsoft 365 security and compliance featuresincluding Conditional Access, Information Protection, DLP, andSensitivity Labels
- Experience in user adoption, changemanagement, and digital workplace transformation
- Familiarity withMicrosoft 365 automation and extensibility (Power Platform, GraphAPI, Python, and PowerShell
- Microsoft Certified AdministratorExpert and other relevant certifications
- Experience working inprofessional services, consulting, or systems integration deliverymodels. Required Skills

- Ability to travel toclient sites upon reasonable request Additional Information
- Theestimated annual pay range for this position is $200,000 – $250,000which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for thisposition is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience,and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual toindividual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical,vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
