As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be a key technical advisorand product advocate, supporting the sales team in driving revenuegrowth for our SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solutions. Yourrole will involve working closely with customers to understandtheir business challenges and technical requirements, providingtailored solutions that integrate our networking and networksecurity technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functionalteams, including sales, product management, and engineering, toensure successful sales engagements and customer satisfaction.
KeyResponsibilities:
Engage with enterprise customers to assess theirsecurity and networking needs, positioning our SASE solutions asthe best fit. Deliver compelling technical presentations, productdemonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements. Collaboratewith the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and drivetechnical wins. Provide deep technical expertise on networksecurity, SD-WAN, zero-trust architecture, cloud security, andremote access solutions. Assist customers in network architecturedesign, ensuring seamless integration of our solutions. Respond totechnical RFPs/RFIs and support proposal development. Conducttechnical workshops and product training for customers and internalteams. Represent the company at industry conferences, webinars, andtrade shows. Stay up to date with industry trends, threatlandscapes, and evolving security requirements. Provide feedback toproduct management based on customer and market insights.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5 yearsof experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales roles inthe networking and cybersecurity industry. Expertise in SASEtechnologies, including: SD-WAN Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)Cloud Security & Secure Web Gateways (SWG) Firewall-as-a-Service(FWaaS) CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) Endpoint Security &Threat Intelligence Strong understanding of networkingfundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP),switching, and VPN technologies. Familiarity with network securityprotocols such as IPSec, SSL/TLS, DNS security, and IDS/IPS.Hands-on experience with firewalls, cloud security solutions (AWS,Azure, GCP), and identity-based security models. Proficiency intechnical solution selling, articulating complex concepts to bothtechnical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving,communication, and presentation skills. Experience with customerengagement, account planning, and competitive analysis. Ability totravel as needed for customer meetings, PoCs, and industry events.
Preferred Skills:
Industry certifications such as
CCNP, CCIE,CISSP, AWS
Security Specialty, or equivalent. Experience withSaaS-based security platforms and multi-cloud networking. Hands-onexperience with automation, scripting, and network monitoringtools.
