As aCustomer Architect, you will be the Trusted Technical Advisor,working in tandem with the customer and complementary groups likeField and Services Teams to ensure that Elastic solutions areexceeding customer’s expectations. Your technical expertise, eyefor business, and ability to deliver value will accelerate andimprove the customer experience leading to customer continuedsatisfaction and expansion within the elastic portfolio. In yourrole, a crucial part of your responsibility is defining andcommunicating the technical success criteria for our customers.

This involves crafting detailed Technical Success Plans tailored tothe specific customers goals and critical metrics. The TechnicalSuccess Plans act as a roadmap, outlining the optimal consumptionand deployment of Elastic solutions in the customers environment.

They detail the necessary steps for implementation, highlightachievements for successful consumption or expansion, and provideeffectiveness aligned to the customer’s business goals. Byactioning this plan, you will be seen as the trusted advisor,guiding the customer towards achieving their desired outcomes,thereby ensuring their success and satisfaction. From providingtechnical guidance and sharing standard methodologies to aligningtechnical objectives with the customers business goals, your workis instrumental in facilitating smooth adoption, sustained usage,and increased consumption of our solutions. This hands-on rolerequires you to be proactive, with a keen understanding of ourcustomers technical landscape and a commitment to making theirjourney with Elastic solutions successful and valuable. What YouWill Be Doing Your chief aim will be to ensure the customer derivessignificant value, eliminate technical frictions, and propel theuptake and application of Elastic solutions, with the ultimate goalof growing annual recurring revenue (ARR).

  • Collaborate closelywith the account team, including the Account Executive and theSolutions Architect (Pre-sales engineer), to provide ongoingtechnical coverage and support, while the account team focuses onidentifying new deals.
  • Define the technical success plan for eachcustomer, outlining the optimal use of Elastic solutions to achievetheir business objectives.
  • Ensure a successful technical customerjourney, from onboarding to adoption, while continuously drivingthe consumption of Elastic solutions.
  • Understand and articulatethe value proposition of Elastic solutions and align them with thecustomers business goals.
  • Work closely with customers to identifyand eliminate technical frictions, promoting a smoother adoptionand implementation of Elastic solutions.
  • Liaise between customersand support, as necessary, to ensure an optimized supportresolution experience, smoothing the adoption curve for thecustomer.
  • As a hands-on technical authority, collaborate with theService Team to deliver personalized, frictionless solutions thatmeet the unique needs of each customer.
  • Develop a comprehensiveunderstanding of the customers business needs and translate theseinto technical requirements for Elastic solutions.
  • Findopportunities for expansion, at which point the account team takesover to expand the subscription, aiming to grow annual recurringrevenue (ARR).
  • Foster ongoing customer relationships, ensuringthat customers continue to increase their utilization of Elasticsolutions, further driving ARR.
  • Continuously review and assesscustomer consumption of Elastic solutions, proactively suggestingupgrades and enhancements that increase value and drive furtherconsumption. What You Bring
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science,Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field highlypreferred.
  • Validated experience in a similar role such asSolutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Pre-sales Engineer,with hands-on experience with Elastic solutions or equivalenttechnologies.
  • Experienced with one or more Elastic solutions(Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or the Elastic stack(Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and how to align them withbusiness objectives is a plus.
  • Excellent communication andpresentation skills.
  • Strong social skills, with the ability toestablish relationships with customers and team members.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with a track record ofdelivering innovative solutions.
  • Ability to lead multipleprojects simultaneously and meet deadlines
