UnitedStates, Remote About the Role dbt Labs is looking for a dynamic andexperienced Senior Director of Solutions Architecture to lead ourSolutions Architecture team for the United States. This leadershiprole will involve growing and leading a team of Solutions Architectleaders, to drive revenue growth and customer success. The SeniorDirector of Solutions Architecture will play a crucial role inbuilding and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuringtechnical excellence, and driving the success of our sales efforts,and will partner closely with our sales leaders and broaderAmericas revenue team. What Youll Do As the leader of our SolutionsArchitecture function in North America, you will guide a team ofSolutions Architect Managers to deliver exceptional pre-salessupport, customer outcomes, and cross-functional alignment. Thisrole is central to cultivating a high-performance team culture, andensuring our customers realize maximum value from dbt Labssolutions. Leadership
- Lead the Solutions Architecture team forNorth America, in partnership with the VP of North America salesand key stakeholders
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team ofhigh-performing solutions architects, promoting a culture oftechnical excellence, customer-centricity, and collaboration
- Implement scalable processes and best practices that ensureconsistency and quality across solutions architecture activitiesCustomer Success and Solution Delivery
- Partner with Sales,Customer Success, and Product teams to deliver best-in-classsolutions that align with customer needs and business goals
- Engage directly with key customers and partners to understand theirneeds, create alignment, and foster long-term relationships
- Serveas an escalation point and a trusted advisor for strategiccustomers, navigating complex technical and business challengesTechnical Expertise and Enablement
- Maintain a deep understandingof dbt Labs’ product suite, industry best practices, and emergingtechnologies to drive innovation in solutions architecture
- Establish a robust enablement program to support the continuousdevelopment of technical and consultative skills within the team,with a heavy emphasis on pipeline generation
- Act as a subjectmatter expert, sharing technical insights and providing guidance oncomplex solutions design and implementation Cross-functionalCollaboration and Influence
- Collaborate with Sales, Services,Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other key functions to alignsolutions architecture initiatives with broader company objectives
- Champion the voice of the customer, working cross-functionally toprovide feedback on product enhancements and influence roadmapprioritization Metrics and Performance Management
- Regularlyreview and optimize team performance, processes, and resourceallocation to meet evolving business needs and customerexpectations
- Ensure that solutions architecture effortscontribute to customer success metrics such as retention,satisfaction, and expansion What Youll Need
- 9 years of industryexperience in a pre-sales capacity with 5 years of second linemanagement experience (recruiting, ramping, and retaining toptalent)
- Industry experience across data warehousing, analytics,business intelligence, data engineering, or data science
- Proventrack record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targetsin fast-paced environments
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science,Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience throughwork experience What Will Make You Stand Out
