As a Solutions Architect atNirmata, you will be engaged with customers in pre sales phase,building and maintaining technical trusted advisor relationshipswith Fortune 500 customers. You will build, position and prove outNirmata’s solutions for its customers, working closely withNirmata’s partners and the community. You will be responsible forproviding pre-sales technical leadership in the creation,demonstration and delivery of technology solutions designed to meetcustomer’ business needs and, consequently, for addressing customerbusiness goals. You will actively contribute to Nirmatas solutionsportfolio by providing information ranging from technical knowledgeto methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects.

You will be shaping technical direction and technical strategieswithin the organization and for external customers.

Responsibilities:

Identify customer pain points and keyrequirements to help them achieve their business and technologyobjectives. Build and demonstrate solutions that may includetechnologies from Nirmata along with its partners and othersolutions from the open source community. Prove out the value ofNirmatas solution to meet customer’s stated objectives. Provideleadership on key customer initiatives. This will includeunderstanding business implications and requirements, andarchitecting solutions to meet those requirements. Assist thecustomer in defining, capturing, documenting and sharing the actualfinancial value provided by Nirmata. Design and develop innovativesolutions to customer requirements , with assistance from ourinternal engineering group and product management. Provide clearand constructive product feedback to Nirmata Engineering teamsbased on customer requirements. Help to document best practices indeveloping and deploying Nirmata solutions. Function as afront-line technical resource for best practice and informalcustomer questions and act as a liaison between customers and boththe Engineering and Product Management offices.

Education andExperience Required:

A Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalentdegree in computer science or a related area of study. 7 years ofprofessional experience with current role as Solutions Architectengaged in presales function.

Technical Expertise:

Has sufficientdepth and breadth of technical knowledge to design and scopemultiple deliverables across private and public cloudinfrastructure, storage and cloud networking. Hands-on experiencewith Kubernetes security including Kubernetes hardening, CIScompliance standards for Kubernetes, Pod and container security.

Experience with other security solutions for Kubernetes fromvendors and the open source community. Automation skills with shellscripting and python.

Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to understandand stitch together a combination of technologies or solutions tomeet customer and market requirements. Possesses an understanding,at a detailed level, of architectural dependencies of technologiesin use in the customers IT environment. Able to communicate withinternal and external senior management confidently and demonstratethe professionalism of the job family. Customer relationshipmanagement and account planning skills. Ability to work in a multi-technology environment with the ability to diagnose complextechnical problems to their root cause. In addition totroubleshooting skills and consulting skills, has ability tosummarize prognosis and impact at practice lead level. Ability toadapt a consulting style appropriate to the situation and canidentify upsell opportunities. Be able to demonstrate a broadunderstanding of market dynamics, an industry area, commercialissues, and technical concerns whilst maintaining depth in the corefocus area. Ability to present within your own area of expertise aspart of a customer sales presentation, putting forwarddomain-specific information within the context of the company salescampaign. Has demonstrated ability to lead others in the gatheringof requirements, designs, plans and estimates. Able toindependently complete solution implementation or applicationdesign deliverables.
