Solutions Engineers at Confluent drive not only the early-stageevaluation within the sales process, but also play a crucial rolein enabling ongoing value-realization for customers, all whilehelping them move up the adoption maturity curve. In this roleyou’ll partner with Account Executives to be the key technicaladvisor in service of the customer. You’ll be instrumental insurfacing the customers’ stated or implicit Business Needs, andcoming up with Technical Designs to best meet these needs. You mayfind yourself at times facilitating art of the possible discussionsand storytelling to inspire customers in adopting new patterns withconfidence, and at other times driving creative solutioning to helpget past difficult technical roadblocks. Overall, we look uponSolutions Engineers to be a key cog within the Customer SuccessTeam that help foster an environment of sustained success for thecustomer and incremental adoption of Confluent’s Technology.

WhatYou Will Do:

• Help advance new & innovative Data Streaminguse-cases from conception to Go-Live
• Execute on and leadTechnical Proofs of Concept
• Conduct Discovery & WhiteboardSessions to develop new use-cases
• Provide Thought Leadership bydelivering Technical Talks and Workshops
• Guide customers withhands-on help and best practice to drive operational maturity oftheir Confluent Deployment
• Analyze Customer Consumption trendsand identify Optimization opportunities
• Work closely with Productand Engineering teams, and serve as a key Product advocate acrossthe Customer, Partner and Industry ecosystem
• Forge strongrelationships with key customer stakeholders and serve as adependable partner for them

What You Will Bring:

• 3 years ofSolutions Engineering or similar work experience
• Experience withEvent-Driven architecture, Data Integration & ProcessingTechniques, Database & Data Warehouse technologies
• First-Handexposure to Cloud Architecture, Migrations, Deployment &Application Development
• Experience with Automation, GitOps andKubernetes
• Proficiency in Java, Python or SQL
• Technicalcertifications – Cloud Developer/Architect, Data Engineering ∬egration
• Clear, consistent demonstration of self-starterbehavior, a desire to learn new things and tackle hard technicalproblems
• Exceptional presentation and communicationscapabilities.
• Confidence presenting to a highly skilled andexperienced audience, ranging from developers to enterprisearchitects and up to C-level executives
