Remote, USAbout the Role We are seeking an experienced Staff CustomerResident Architects to join our team. In this role, you will drivecritical customer outcomes by delivering high-impact technicalguidance to strategic accounts. You will be part of ahigh-visibility initiative that supports pre-sales, acceleratesadoption, enables key migrations, and mitigates churn risks. Thisrole is designed to deploy RA-level expertise flexibly, aligningwith customer and business needs to drive growth, retention, andexpansion. What Youll Do

• Accelerate Customer Success Across theLifecycle o Support strategic pre-sales opportunities by providingtechnical expertise to prospects o Assist in launching andonboarding new customers who have not purchased RA services,ensuring they successfully adopt dbt Cloud o Execute proactiveadoption plays, including migrations, new feature implementations(e.

g., Semantic Layer, Mesh), and major version upgrades o Leadreactive adoption initiatives to de-risk churn or contraction andposition accounts for future growth

• Deliver Technical Excellenceo Advise on architecture, design, implementation, troubleshooting,and best practices in dbt Cloud environments o Build solution MVPsand guide long-term technical strategies tailored to customer needso Engage on multiple projects simultaneously with clear scoping,start and end dates, and outcome tracking
• Collaborate AcrossTeams o Partner closely with Customer Solutions Architects (CSAs),Sales, Solutions Architects, Training, and Support o Providefeedback to Product and Engineering to improve customer experienceand prioritize technical needs o Champion customer success throughthoughtful, transparent communication and cross-functionalcollaboration
• Advance Best Practices and Team Impact o Help buildout and refine this evolving function alongside the broader RAorganization o Track and manage capacity and engagementeffectiveness similarly to other RA-led initiatives What Youll Need
• 5 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such aspost-sales consulting, technical architecture, or solution delivery
• Expertise with at least one modern cloud data platform(Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift)
• Hands-onexperience deploying or configuring dbt Cloud, with at least 1 yearworking with dbt
• Strong proficiency in SQL; working knowledge ofPython in analytics contexts preferred
• Comfort leading technicalproject delivery — managing scope, timelines, and stakeholderexpectations across multiple simultaneous engagements
• Clear,concise communication skills for both technical and executiveaudiences
• A collaborative mindset — thriving in a remote,transparent, and highly cross-functional organization
• Willingnessto travel 2-4 times per year for company-wide events What Will MakeYou Stand Out
