Radiology Applications Architect (Senior, Mid)
Radiology Applications Architect-
Job Summary:
Responsible for the management, design and implementation of Radiology and Clinical Imaging applications that support strategic objectives. Provides technical and architectural leadership for clinical imaging solutions and develops and influences the technical objectives of assignment.
Responsibilities:
Manages the application development life cycle including definition and documentation of project scope and implementation plans.
Researches, analyzes, designs, proposes and delivers solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies.
Creates project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies and best practices. • Leads technical design sessions with the development teams, including detailed design specifications and ensuring that architecture standards are followed.
Evaluates and makes rmendations and decisions on technical design as appropriate.
Works with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, needs and strategies to anticipate future business and technology needs.
Communicates implications of architectural decisions, technology costs, benefits and implementation requirements to business and IT Leadership.
Defines and validates non-functional (technical) requirements and establishes traceability between requirements and application architecture/design.
Contributes to the implementation of innovative project solutions through hands-on development and/or configuration activities.
Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health systemanization
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (Required)
3+ years of experience leading technical application projects ranging from simple toplex (Required)
5+ years of experience working directly with application suite on technical/ workflow build, maintenance and project related tasks (Required)
Core application proficiency across multiple areas (Required)
Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated success in coordinating the activities and deliverables of project teams
Ability tomunicate technical information and ideas
Able to translateplex information into simple explanations
Demonstrated interpersonal/verbalmunication skills
Ability to manage projects from inception to successful implementation.
Fluent understanding of vendor application infrastructure and design, able to articulate how data flows through application to downstream systems.
Senior Radiology Applications Architect-
Job Summary:
Provides leadership in developing the Radiology and Clinical Imaging product integration strategy, overall suite architecture and design, best in class user experience, availability and scalability. Provides a balanced perspective of technical, architectural and business considerations while being a catalyst for transformation and future-proofing the architecture. Drives rmendations for technology adoption from a total-enterprise perspective.
Responsibilities:
Manages the application development life cycle including definition and documentation of project scope and implementation plans.
Mentors product architects across the suite and implements a decision making and architecture governance process.
Ensures appropriate resources are identified for all project activities including design, development and testing.
Evaluates and identifies appropriate technology platforms for delivering theanization’s services.
Drives adoption of integration patterns and technologies, considering application, data and business integration.
Identifies technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business.
Leads solution design, builds consensus and executes the rmended solutions.
Rmends appropriate and proactive courses of action to analysts and management on technical and infrastructure issues.

Education and Experience:

7+ years of experience working directly with the application suite on technical/workflow build, maintenance and project related tasks (Required)
