Sr Aws Architect
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Guidance on
AWS Services:
Observability requirements assessment.
Recommendations and best-practice guidance on suitable AWS services.
Workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.
AWS Architecture Design for
Observability Services Platform:
High-level architectural design document.
Detailed, low-level architectural design document (including network, data flow, security).
Scalability and resilience plan.
Security design.
Monitoring, Alerting, and Dashboard Implementation:
Implementation of core monitoring alarms.
Creation of initial performance dashboards.
Documentation of troubleshooting/fix procedures for alerts.
AWS Cost Avoidance and Optimization:
Cost analysis of the proposed architecture.
Design recommendations for cost minimization.
Guidance on AWS cost management tools.
Assistance Creating Automated CI/CD Processes:
Design and documentation of CI/CD pipelines (Infrastructure as Code).
Implementation support for initial CI/CD pipeline setup.
Best practices documentation for CI/CD.
Training/workshop on CI/CD processes.
Management Procedures Documentation:
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for routine management and maintenance of the platform8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, VPN).
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) is a plus.
AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Admin) is preferred.
