The Opportunity at Komodo Health The Cohort Builder team atKomodo is responsible for building the most reactive anduser-friendly experience for our users to query the KomodoHealthcare Map and build domain analytics. The team is an integralpart of Komodo’s platform working on the most comprehensive dataabout what actually happens in U.S. healthcare. The way to querythe Komodo Healthcare Map can evolve over time and vary dependingon the market segment our users come from. With that, the CohortBuilder team is about to re-write the existing experience into amore scalable one which will support those variations and dataaddons for the next decade. Looking back on your first 12 months atKomodo Health, you will have… Owned the development of the newCohort Builder 2.0, based on Product and Design requirementsProposed new designs and ideas for creatively finding ways aroundseeming obstacles to a high-quality user experience Learned abouthealthcare data and how to embed several data addons into theCohort Builder experience You will accomplish these outcomesthrough the following responsibilities… Continual contributions tothe App Suite and Cohort Builder production codebase, includingreviews of your colleagues’ code Close partnership with ProductManagement and Design in defining and realizing the best achievableuser experience Continually evaluating new technologies andinnovations that can be incorporated into our solutionCollaboration with other Platform and Application Engineering teamswhen opportunities to jointly tackle problems arise Contributed toour Komodo Design System and Components library to deliver the bestuser experience to our userbase Documenting your work to ahigh-standard, and rigorously ensuring quality of everything thatis released What you bring to Komodo Health (required): 4 years ofexperience building rich web applications using modern technologiessuch as NodeJS, Typescript and React Experience architectingend-to-end solutions and building backend systems and APIs usingmodern technologies such as Python Experience in automating UI useracceptance tests to enable continuous delivery Demonstrated abilityto communicate and collaborate with both technical andnon-technical colleagues Additional skills and experience we’dprioritize (nice to have)… Ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment Experience working with international teams (goodconversational English level required) LI-Remote Compensation atKomodo Health The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimumand maximum range of pay that we reasonably expect to pay acrossall U.S. locations and may span more than one career level. Wecarefully consider multiple business-related factors whendetermining compensation, including job-related skills, workexperience, geographic work location, relevant training andcertifications, business needs and market demands. The U.S.national starting annual base pay for this role is listed below.

This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses asdetermined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance witha written agreement or plan. $144,000 – $160,000 USD Where You’llWork Komodo Health has a hybrid work model; we recognize the powerof choice and importance of flexibility for the well-being of bothour company and our individual Dragons. Roles may be completelyremote based anywhere in the country listed, remote but based in aspecific region, or local (commuting distance) to one of our hubsin San Francisco, New York City, or Chicago with remote workoptions.
