Summary of Responsibilities:
As a Developer in the Transmission and Distribution Products group you will be part of a highly motivated team focused on the Construction & Design product. The position will consist of being part of a broader product team focused on enhancing software and technology surrounding unified cost, schedule, portfolio, and equipment & materials management capabilities. In this position you will partner with users across the company to provide high value product increments to the Construction & Design product.
Responsibilities:
Developing application interfaces, maintaining reports, and vendor package applications. Analyzing, designing, configuring, developing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and implementing changes to the various custom developed and package applications supported. Learning and understanding the business processes associated with supported applications. Developing technical designs that meet business needs and support the company’s IT direction. Properly leveraging the correct technology for the defined requirements. Creating and executing comprehensive unit test plans, developing test cases, assisting with integration, and completing system test plans. Developing clear documentation for completed products. Investigating and resolving problems with supported applications in a production support environment. Solving complex problems and troubleshooting functionality for issue identification. Learning electric utility transmission related business processes. Becoming proficient software developer on the supported software applications and related tools. Consistently delivering high quality results.
