Sr. Application Engineer Position Available In Dorchester, South Carolina

Manpower Engineering is looking for a

• Sr. Application Engineer
• to support our client in Summerville, SC. Contract position expected to last at least through the end of year.
• Job Description Summary
• Will be part of a 9-person team supporting the sales inquiries and the design lifecycle of products.

Work closely with Product Management and Sales to provide input for new technologies and features anticipated for customer applications. Develop concepts and confirm feasibility for customer option inquiries for new and current products. Produce customer option quotes including feasibility, concept, timing, and cost.

• Qualifications:

• + Bachelor of Science in Engineering required (BSME or BSEE preferred). Advanced degree preferred + Must know how to interpret requirements and understand how to put together proposals and convert into quotes + Minimum of four years’ industry experience in design and applications engineering + Experience with solid modeling & detailed drawings
• (•_preferred_•)•+ Basic knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, including schematics + Working with a CAD system to do 3D layouts (Company is Siemens NX – Unigraphics) + Ability to comprehend and follow standards and procedures such as

SAE, ANSI, ASME, ISO, UL
