Senior Applications Analyst
Location:
MT Anderson Support Center (on-premises)
Participates in all aspects of web application life cycle development. Functions as a member of the development team, analyzing issues, designing and delivering solutions to custom applications and integrating purchased software into the larger applications ecosystem.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, equivalent coursework and/or experience
- Minimum 3 years developing web applications using javascript, HTML5, CSS
- Minimum 3 years using Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle DBMS, including the development of T-SQL stored procedures and strong understanding of relational database principles
- Experience using Visual Studio, git, JIRA, JAMS, VB.net, ASP, vue.js, node.js, jsreport, Rust
- Familiarity with multiple development stacks
- Experience with automated/continuous testing and integration
- Strongmunication skills, including technical writing
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
Employees in this position are expected to: - Develop software features in accordance with operational needs.
- Expeditiously determine the root cause of reported issues, both in software and in conversation with users.
- Advise management and stakeholders regarding the best way to achieve necessary functionality and the expected cost of such in effort hours.
- Explain and/or document procedures, procedure changes, and intended software fixes.
- Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear, considerate, and timely manner.
- Work effectively with team members to share knowledge, balance priorities, and organize work.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Other duties as assigned.
