POSITION SUMMARY
The primary objective for the Architect is to build and support established Architectural initiatives leveraged by the Design Manager for both in the office and field, for
CDCC / CDE
business units. Provide Architectural leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle from design & construction to facilities management.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Architectural leadership for Design / Design-Build projects Provide rendered images /videos, construction document production (drawings + specifications) as well as marketing material for project pursuits
Provide and deliver required deliverables for construction document milestones
Continue development of drafting templates and libraries for Design workflows Support 5D / Model Based Estimating collaboration with Preconstruction

Qualifications
WORKING CONDITIONS
The majority of work is in an office setting, with intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. Periodic construction site visits to gather project data and information.
Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.
May require short periods of travel (2-5 days)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Education:
Bachelor’s in Architecture, or related design field
Experience:
10+ years relevant Design-Build experience in the Industrial (food/beverage, manufacturing, automotive, distribution/logistics, etc.) market
Experience in construction means and methods especially in the application of technology on a range of project size and complexity.
Demonstrated abilities and relative experience in preconstruction, field management and construction processes.
Skills & Knowledge:
Revit, BIM Collaborate Pro, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Lumion, preparation of CSI specifications, submittal review
License:
R.A. in SC or GA preferred
