We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Architect with expertise in the logistics, warehousing, material flow, and manufacturing domains at our West Union, SC location.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Supply Chain functional modules and extensive experience integrating with internally developed Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for discrete manufacturing environments. The candidate will also have expertise in supply chain processes, focusing on areas of material management & control, production planning, order fulfillment, and inbound/outbound material flows. The candidate will provide in-depth technical expertise and direction in the development and support of client area application systems/programming requirements and processes. For various size projects and system changes, they oversee and directly contribute to development and implementation of cost-effective solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Actively partner with functional groups to assess business needs utilizing structured interview processes to establish business priorities and document clear requirements.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.
Partner with IT organization to configure and customize Oracle modules related to supply chain and manufacturing.
Design and implement integration solutions between Oracle and internally designed MES systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
Coordinates with business users on new enhancements and collaboratively helps the business prioritize new enhancements.
Serve as an Oracle functional configuration expert to develop, test, and implement significant new solutions. Configure applicable module(s) to design optimal solutions.
Provide support and troubleshooting for system integration issues.
Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users.
Develop and monitor manufacturing analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement.
Partner with end-users and functional stakeholders to develop requirements for system tools & analytics driving continuous improvement (such as MS PBI, Power Automate, etc.) and consult with technical developers ensuring quality and on-time solution delivery.
Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Oracle functional consulting / SME, specifically in supply chain and manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Supply Chain modules.
Proven experience with MES integration in discrete manufacturing environments.
Knowledge MRP logic, BOM (Bill of Materials) structures, and production planning, and manufacturing execution processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in manufacturing analytics and KPI development.
Good understanding of GMP concepts, including eBR, eDHR, and eLHR.
Oracle certification in relevant modules.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with MES systems like Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk, and GE Digital Proficy is a plus.
