The developer works closely with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to design, purchase, and implement business systems, enhancements, and upgrades. The developer demonstrates very good technical, teamwork, and communication skills. The role requires 5 or more years of programming experience and strong business and communications skills. What you’ll do Provide timely and accurate corrective actions to production support matters for assigned applications. Apply software patches , install upgrades, and correct errors to 3-rd party software and in-house developed applications. Escalate issues when necessary and involve others to solve production problems. Work across teams to solve production problems and issues. Be available off hours for production problems when needed and notify management and/or backup when unavailable. Provide technical support for mainframe applications and other assigned applications. Ensures that application data adheres to the bank’s and specific departmental guidelines for security and confidentiality. Ensure completion of all technical activities/tasks for projects by the scheduled completion dates. Adhere to and support the AgFirst SDLC project methodology. Study, analyze, recommend , and actively determine system needs and development. Proactive in systems monitoring , support issues, process analysis, and re-engineering; formulates and makes recommendations to management. Understand the SDLC and operate according to SDLC practices. Demonstrate strong technical leadership for assigned projects and support assignments. What you’ll need 4-year degree in IT, IT-related field, or other field combined with related IT experience 5 years of application development, integration, and support experience Expert-level skills in .NET Standard, .NET Core, and C# development Expert-level skills in system architecture, design, and development best practices Expert-level SQL skills, both for Oracle and SQL Server-based applications Lansa’s programming experience is a bonus Expert-level knowledge of the full development lifecycle and its associated methodologies Extensive experience with and knowledge of DevOps and team-based development automation Expert-level knowledge of GIT and its surrounding processes and technologies Extensive experience using production job automation (e.g., UC4) Thorough understanding of and commitment to Agile development principles SQL, Microsoft SSRS Willingness to learn new technology and/or techniques AgFirst Farm Credit Bank provides financing, as well as technology and other value-added services, to association partners so they can lend to rural residents and agricultural operations of all sizes.
