Anticipated SalaryRange:
$111,662.00 – $145,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. LI-DS1 Mid-Senior Level Essential Job Responsibilities Supportdevelopment and deployment of cloud infrastructure in AWS Supportdevelopment and deployment of non-cloud (Edge) infrastructure ofon-premise and portable equipment Automate deployment processes andensure reliability and scalability of services Manage and maintainKubernetes containers and cloud infrastructure on AWS Collaboratewith development teams to integrate their applications into theinfrastructure Monitor and troubleshoot production systems andresolve issues as necessary Continuously improve processes andtools to ensure high availability and performance Stay current withnew technologies and industry trends, continuously exploring newways to improve our infrastructure Other duties as assigned MinimumQualifications Security Clearance – A current Secret U.S.Government Security clearance is required; U.S. citizenshiprequired. 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineering or SoftwareDevelopment and Bachelors in related field; or 3 years relevantexperience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma orequivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Strong knowledge ofLinux, including system administration and troubleshootingProficient in configuration management tools such as Terraform,Ansible or Puppet Knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda)and their application to deployment and management ofinfrastructure. Experience with application and OS deployment,scaling, and management Ability to develop in multiple programminglanguages such as Python, Bash, or Go Familiarity with Git andother development tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and theability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues Excellent oraland written communication skills. Understanding of AGILE softwaredevelopment methodologies and use of standard software developmenttool suites Must have a DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications(i.e. Security) Must be able to work in a hybrid environment,spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MDoffice. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes asneeded. Preferred Requirements Experience with big datatechnologies like: Hadoop, Spark, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive,Drill, Impala, Trino, Presto, etc. Experience with containers EKS,Diode, CI/CD, and Terraform are a plus Work could possibly requiresome on-call support.
