Anticipated SalaryRange:

$111,662.00 – $145,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. Job DescriptionEnlighten is seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOpsEngineer to join our fast-paced development team. The idealcandidate will have strong working knowledge in Linux systemsadministration, and a background in Big Data solutions,configuration management, automation, scripting, containers, andAWS. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for implementinginfrastructure, automating deployment processes, and ensuring thereliability and scalability of our services. Work is performed in ahybrid environment (on average 1-2 days a week) with a great team.

LI-DS1 Mid-Senior Level Essential JobResponsibilities Support development and deployment of cloudinfrastructure in AWS Support development and deployment ofnon-cloud (Edge) infrastructure of on-premise and portableequipment Automate deployment processes and ensure reliability andscalability of services Manage and maintain Kubernetes containersand cloud infrastructure on AWS Collaborate with development teamsto integrate their applications into the infrastructure Monitor andtroubleshoot production systems and resolve issues as necessaryContinuously improve processes and tools to ensure highavailability and performance Stay current with new technologies andindustry trends, continuously exploring new ways to improve ourinfrastructure Other duties as assigned Minimum QualificationsSecurity Clearance – A current Secret level U.S. GovernmentSecurity clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required. 5 yearsof experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development andBachelors in related field; or 3 years relevant experience withMasters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and9 years relevant experience. Strong knowledge of Linux, includingsystem administration and troubleshooting Proficient inconfiguration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible or PuppetKnowledge of AWS services (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda) and theirapplication to deployment and management of infrastructure.

Experience with application and OS deployment, scaling, andmanagement Ability to develop in multiple programming languagessuch as Python, Bash, or Go Familiarity with Git and otherdevelopment tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and the abilityto identify and troubleshoot complex issues Excellent oral andwritten communication skills. Understanding of AGILE softwaredevelopment methodologies and use of standard software developmenttool suites Must have a DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications(i.e. Security) Must be able to work in a hybrid environment. Onaverage 1-2 days per week with ability to flex if needed. PreferredRequirements Experience with big data technologies like: Hadoop,Spark, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Hive, Drill, Impala, Trino,Presto, etc. Experience with containers EKS, Diode, CI/CD, andTerraform are a plus Work could possibly require some on-call work.
