In this role, you will combine your expertise in Java, J2EEtechnologies, and Spring Boot programming to enhance and supportlife insurance applications. As a lead developer, you’ll play a keypart in designing and building next-generation enterprise softwaresolutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders tomeet their needs.

What You’ll Do:

Lead the

Design and Development:

Participate in the design,development, and ongoing maintenance of Sapiens Life Insurancesoftware, ensuring it aligns with both business requirements andtechnical specifications.

Analyze & Transform Business Requirements:

Work closely withbusiness analysts to understand and transform business requirementsinto detailed design specifications at both the system andprogramming levels.

Effort Estimation & Timeline Management:

Estimate the effort andtimelines required for project changes, ensuring they are realisticand achievable. J2

EE Development & Testing:

Perform hands-on development andtesting in a J2EE platform to implement the necessary changes andenhancements.

Post-Implementation Support:

Provide post-implementation support,including the analysis and resolution of any production issues,ensuring seamless operations.

Continuous Improvement:

Continuously refine processes andmethodologies, bringing in innovative solutions that driveefficiency and scalability.

Key Qualifications:

Experience in

Life Insurance Solutions:

Minimum 3-5 years oftechnical development experience with Sapiens Life Insuranceproducts.

Technical Proficiency:

Hands-on experience with J2EE technologies,including Spring Boot, JSP, Velocity, Struts, Hibernate, EJB, AJAX,and Java 6.

Database & OOPs Concepts:

Strong familiarity with database designand optimization along with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)principles. Microservices & Kubernetes (Advantage): Exposure to microservicesarchitecture, event-driven programming, and Kubernetes is aplus.

Analytical Skills:

Good conceptual, analytical, and mathematicalproblem-solving skills.

Self-Starter & Team Player:

You are a motivated learner with apassion for technology and innovation. You’re a team player whothrives in collaborative environments and is eager to take on newchallenges.

Strong Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicatetechnical concepts to both technical and non-technicalstakeholders, with great verbal and written communicationskills.

Educational Background:

A bachelor’s degree in any stream with 5+years of relevant industry experience.

Must-Have:
