Anticipated SalaryRange:

$107,957.00 – $160,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications Security Clearance- A current U.S. Government Security Clearance is not required onday 1, but will be processed for a Secret level; U.S. Citizenshiprequired. A current Secret or TS/SCI is a huge plus. At least 5years of experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworksand Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava) and a Bachelors in relatedfield; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevantexperience. Experience in designing enterprise APIs Experience inRESTful web services Experience in Microservices architectureExperience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) paradigmsExperience with the agile software lifecycle Has a proven abilityto learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in ateam setting Experience with the Linux operating system Experiencewith configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven) Musthave a DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certification (i.e. Security)Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an averageof 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. However,flexibility is essential to accommodate any changes in theschedule. Preferred Requirements A current Secret or TS/SCI ispreferred. Experience with NiFi, Kafka, AWS Infrastructure, andK8’s. Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure).Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL databases, fulltext-search engines (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr) Scriptingexperience is a huge plus. Prior experience or familiarity with ourBig Data Platform is a plus. Understanding of AGILE softwaredevelopment methodologies and use of standard software developmenttool suites. (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Github Enterprise, etc.)
