Anticipated SalaryRange:
$111,662.00 – $160,000.00. The salary range for this role isintended as a good faith estimate based on the role’s location,expectations, and responsibilities. LI-DS1Mid-Senior Level Essential Job Responsibilities Must have a strongworking knowledge and experience developing Java based softwarecapabilities. Should have an inquisitive nature, responsiveness,and excellent testing skills. Must also possess strongtroubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure withmultiple deadlines. Will work in a fast-paced, small businessenvironment with our talented team. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Security Clearance – A current Secret U.S.Government Security Clearance is required with the ability toobtain TS/SCI level clearance; U.S. Citizenship required. A currentTS/SCI is a huge plus. At least 5 years of experience in SoftwareEngineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring,Guava) and a Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevantexperience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma orequivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Experience in designingenterprise APIs Experience in RESTful web services Experience inMicroservices architecture Experience in Object OrientedProgramming (OOP) paradigms Experience with the agile softwarelifecycle Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well bothindependently as well as in a team setting Experience with theLinux operating system Experience with configuration managementtools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven) Must be able to work in a hybridenvironment, spending an average of 2-3 days per week on customersite in Columbia, MD. However, flexibility is essential toaccommodate any changes in the schedule. Preferred Requirements Acurrent TS/SCI is preferred. CI Poly is a plus. Experience withNiFi, Kafka, AWS Infrastructure, and K8’s. Experience in cloudbased technologies (AWS, Azure). Experience in distributeddatabases, NoSQL databases, full text-search engines (e.g.
Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr) Scripting experience is a huge plus.
Prior experience or familiarity with our Big Data Platform is aplus. Understanding of AGILE software development methodologies anduse of standard software development tool suites. (e.g., JIRA,Confluence, Github Enterprise, etc.)
